Monday's Reflection

Matthew 28:19–20 — Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world.
Christ’s Great Commission was not given to the apostles alone but to every believer who follows Him. These words still echo with urgency across the centuries, calling us to go—not always across oceans, but often across the street, across cultural divides, or even across the table at home. When Jesus said “go,” He invited us into His mission of love—to bring light where there is darkness and hope where there is despair.
In a digital age, “going” may look different but means the same. A young woman began posting short verses and reflections on her social media page, unsure if anyone cared. Months later, a friend she barely knew messaged her, saying those simple posts had helped him through depression and led him to start reading the Bible again. What she thought was small and unnoticed became a lifeline for someone searching for God. The Great Commission is fulfilled not just through preachers and missionaries, but through ordinary believers who dare to speak, write, serve, and love in Jesus’ name. Christ’s promise still stands: wherever we go, whatever the method, He is with us always.
