Faith That Overcomes

🎧 Listen to Today's Devotional

Tuesday's Reflection

Daniel 3:17–18 — If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us... But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods.
The three Hebrews in Babylon showed that faith is not only trusting God for deliverance but also trusting Him if deliverance doesn’t come. Real faith says, “Even if I perish, I will remain faithful.” Their words echo through the ages as a reminder that true loyalty to God is not dependent on favorable outcomes but on unwavering devotion.
In 2015, twenty-one Coptic Christians were martyred in Libya for refusing to deny Christ. Kneeling on a beach, they quietly prayed as they faced execution. Their last words were confessions of faith in Jesus. Like the Hebrews in Babylon, they chose faithfulness even when deliverance did not come in this life. Their testimony continues to inspire millions, reminding us that eternal victory is secured not by escaping trials but by standing firm through them.
