Monday's Reflection
Jeremiah 33:3 — Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.
God Himself invites us to call on Him, promising not only to answer but to reveal "great and mighty things" far beyond our imagination. This is not a suggestion but a divine invitation backed by divine promise. The Creator of heaven and earth bids us come boldly to His throne, assuring us that when we call, He will answer. Prayer is not limited to asking for daily needs—it is also an invitation into deeper revelation of God's wisdom, His plans, and His power working in ways we cannot foresee.
The promise contains three parts: first, call unto Me (the invitation); second, I will answer (the assurance); third, I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know (the revelation). God does not merely solve our problems—He reveals mysteries, opens doors, and accomplishes purposes far beyond what we imagined when we first prayed. Every sincere prayer opens heaven's storehouse of wisdom and provision. When we call upon the Lord, we tap into resources that transcend human ability and into knowledge that surpasses earthly understanding.
History demonstrates this truth repeatedly. Men and women who dared to call upon God in faith discovered that His answers exceeded their requests. Doors opened that no human could unlock. Provision came from unexpected sources. Solutions appeared to impossible problems. The key is not the eloquence of our prayers but the faithfulness of the One who hears them. When we call upon the Lord with sincere hearts, we activate promises that reach from heaven to earth, bringing divine intervention into human circumstances.
Prayer: Lord, we call upon You today. Answer us and show us great and mighty things we do not yet know. Teach us to trust Your promises and to expect Your divine revelation and provision. Open doors no human can open and accomplish what only You can do. Amen.
