The Lord Who Delivers
Memory Verse: "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold" (Psalm 18:2, NIV).
Lesson 2, “The Lord Who Delivers,” emphasizes God’s saving power throughout Israel’s history. Deliverance is not by human strength but by God’s mighty hand.
God’s Acts of Deliverance
From Egypt to Canaan, God repeatedly intervened to rescue His people from bondage and enemies.
Response of Trust
Deliverance requires faith. Israel often faltered, yet God remained faithful.
Christ Connection
Jesus is our ultimate Deliverer, freeing us from sin and death. His cross and resurrection assure eternal salvation.
