Lesson 11 (March 7 - March 13, 2026)
Living With Christ
Memory Verse: "But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection" (Colossians 3:14, NKJV).
Lesson 11, “Living With Christ,” focuses on the practical outworking of a life transformed by union with Christ. Paul moves from theology to daily living, showing how a renewed relationship with Christ reshapes character, relationships, and priorities. Christian faith is not merely belief but a lived experience reflected in attitudes and conduct. Setting the Mind on Things Above Paul calls believers to focus their hearts and minds on heavenly realities. Living with Christ means allowing eternal values to guide everyday decisions rather than being ruled by earthly desires. Putting Off the Old Self The lesson emphasizes intentional change. Believers are urged to put away sinful behaviors and attitudes that no longer align with their new life in Christ. Transformation involves both surrender and discipline. Putting On the New Self Christian living is marked by compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. These virtues reflect Christ’s character and shape how believers interact with others. Love as the Binding Force Above all virtues stands love, which unites and perfects Christian character. Love holds the community together and reflects the heart of Christ more clearly than any other trait. Peace and Gratitude Paul highlights peace and thankfulness as marks of life with Christ. When Christ rules the heart, peace governs relationships and gratitude becomes a natural response to God’s grace. Christ Connection Jesus lived a life of perfect love, humility, and obedience. Through Him, believers receive both the power and the example for living transformed lives. Applications 1. Focus daily on Christ and eternal values. 2. Actively remove habits that conflict with new life in Christ. 3. Cultivate Christlike virtues in relationships. 4. Let love guide words and actions. 5. Practice gratitude and peace as expressions of faith. ✨ In essence: “Living With Christ” teaches that true Christian faith is lived out daily through transformed character, loving relationships, and a life centered on Christ.
