3rd Quarter, 2025
Lesson 1 (June 28 - July 4, 2025)
God’s Faithfulness Across Generations
Memory Verse: "Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commandments" (Deuteronomy 7:9, NIV).
Lesson 1, “God’s Faithfulness Across Generations,” begins the quarter by reminding us that God’s covenant promises remain constant through history. From Abraham to Moses, from the wilderness to Canaan, God demonstrates that His word endures, even when His people fail.
Covenant Continuity
Though generations rise and fall, God’s covenant remains unbroken. Israel’s story is one of repeated human weakness met by divine steadfastness.
Faith and Obedience
God’s faithfulness calls for a response of trust and obedience. The blessing of future generations is tied to remembering and living in covenant relationship.
Christ Connection
Christ is the ultimate fulfillment of God’s covenant faithfulness. In Him, the promises to Abraham and Israel find their “Yes” and “Amen.”
Applications
1. Recall God’s past acts of faithfulness in your family or community.
2. Teach the next generation—pass on stories of God’s goodness.
3. Live out covenant loyalty through obedience today.
4. Rest in Christ, who secures God’s covenant forever.
✨ In essence: God’s faithfulness outlasts generations. Our calling is to trust Him, obey Him, and pass on the covenant story to those who follow.
